Noise
Unless you are booking the entire inn we ask that you respect all other guests and are quiet  between 11:00 p.m. & 8:00 a.m. This means no other guest should be disturbed by your tv, radio, disk player, jet tub (they are noisy), your conversation or any other activities between those times. After a long day of fresh air & invigorating sports, a good night sleep is appreciated by our typical guests.

Pets
Well behaved dogs are welcome in certain rooms only and certain times with advance reservations.  Sorry we do not permit pets during group retreats.  Please enquire first.  A daily fee of $50 will be applied and rules will apply.  For example- all pets must be leashed at all times and picked up after. No barking.  Pets are not allowed in public areas such as swimming pool, hot tub deck, beach. Pets are not allowed on furniture.

For pet owners who plan to have lots of activities in hot weather  there is a wonderful "4 Paws Pet Lodge" on the way here in Youngs Point about 15 minutes away. Fido will have his own air conditioned/heated room with a view. Regular social time with the owners... food... walks or runs in a fenced yard... a vacation for your pet! He will not be confined in a cage....and will be pampered same as home.

Our family lives on the resort ... this is our home & we each have our own pets in our residences! Our daughter Sara has a tiny Lhasa Apso who keeps her company in her office & goes home with her at night. Kristi (mom) also has a little Lhasa and we live in a home at the opposite end of our property...  you may not even notice our dogs...we have lots of privacy & space on our 60 acres. Inga has a friendly black Lab and border collie ... very friendly and they have invisible fencing.

Quiet
Our guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere at our resort.  Unless you have rented the entire inn as a group we expect all quiet between 11 pm and 8 am. We are not suitable for night owls or party animals. This does not mean you cannot have fun and enjoy yourself during the day! Couples meet & mingle .... much joy, laughter & merriment ...around the pool and by the beach... by the fireplace after dinner.. those who wish privacy and solitude will find it here also.
Smoking
Smoking is permitted in our designated smoking areas only.  No smoking indoors, on balconies, beach, pool area, putting green etc...

Tipping
All staff are paid a competitive wage and do not require additional tips. We are happy to serve you, so please leave your wallet behind and just enjoy all we have to offer!

Grouches
No cantankerous grouches allowed.  Life is so short so we prefer to share our time with positive people.  All staff should end their shift feeling great and look forward to coming back to see what the next day will bring.  Our wonderful guests make our work such a joy, but all these good vibes can be spoiled by just one cantankerous grouch.

Other Resort Information

Dinner Guests

• Treetops Dining room is open to everyone by reservation.  
  
  Grounds and facilities are for registered guests only.
  If a registered guest wishes to invite a visitor to the inn a Day Guest Charge of $100 will apply, including dinner. Reservations are required, your visitor must also report to front desk on arrival & depart by 10:00 p.m.

Bathroom amenities

• Many of our policies reflect our concern for protecting the environment. We supply quality liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner in  wall dispensers which we clean and refill. We recycle.  We have eliminated as much as 72 bars of hardly used soap + 72 wrappers + 72 small plastic bottles of shampoo per day...
• Every room has a hairdryer
• We supply in room towels, please bring your own beach towel.

Phones

• We have 2 pay phones. One by lobby and one in parking lot. We are happy to take messages for guests during office hours at 705-657-8095.  After hours we are on answering machine. Most cell phones work here.
