Make yourselves  at home. Westwind is so comfortable & very relaxing.  Enjoy complimentary coffee or tea in our cozy lobby, relax on the sofas, curl up with  a good book, play bridge or do puzzles.  There are many outdoor activities to take advantage of as well.

Unique displays such as antique wooden skis, skates and antique golf clubs fill the inn. The guest rooms have the warm feel of a "log cabin"  along with many modern amenities as the lodge was built in 1986.  Westwind is very cozy, romantic and inviting, please have a look through our photo gallery to see if Wetstwind is for you.

25 Standard Main Lodge Rooms-Type
"A" on the forest side & "B" on the Lake side

These rooms are  designed for one or two guests, with one queen bed or two singles that can be made up together as a king or separate beds as requested when reserving) plus pull out sofa's if there is a need for more beds. We have decorated in the "Olde Rocky Mountain Lodge" style with cedar lined walls, antiques, art and memorabelia.  All rooms are clean and comfortable with fireplace, air-conditioning, comfortable sitting area, private balcony with a sliding glass walk out with seating and a lovely view, "antique" colour TV's with several chanels and basic 4 piece bathroom. Although standard lodge rooms are not 5 star they are lovely, basic, cottagey and clean.

6 Upgraded Lodge Rooms with jacuzzi

These upgraded rooms are as above with newly renovated bathrooms as well as some extra touches like a mini fridge and kettle with in room coffee and tea.  Open the door to a hall with lovely natural stone floors that extend into the bathroom where you will find cedar lines walls, huge heart shaped therapeutic air bubble jet tubs for two, nice pedistal sink and fine fixtures to make the room a little more special for those wishing an upgrade.

In all our rooms we provide:
All bedding linens.
Towels for in room use.  Please bring your own beach towels.
Liquid Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are in refillable dispensers to minimize waste.

Complimentary coffee & tea at our beverage station   
Common area fridge on the second floor for all guests

We have two pay phones, soft drink machine and ice machine.

Amenities in our main lodge include the dining room, two meeting rooms, hot tub, sauna & main lobby. Our lakeside Boathouse lounge and adjacent deck are available for group functions, weddings, conferences, reunions with floor to ceiling brick fireplace, oak dance floor and licensed bar.
