Bring in the new year in style!
Enjoy an evening of pairing wine with food with syndicated columnist
and bestselling cookbook author, Shari Darling, the Sophisticated
Wino.
During the cocktail hour, Shari Darling will take you on a guided
tour of pairing certain wine styles with various delicious appetizers.
You will then be guided into the dining room for a buffet style
dinner by candle light. Shari has created a harmony menu of buffet
dishes partnered with specific wines so you can continue your culinary
journey of the senses through dinner. A variety of wines will be
offered by the glass, as well as a full service bar, roaring fire
and soft music. Begin your New Year with a new understanding of
the art and science of wine and food pairing. Wine by the glass,
bottle litre and half litre as well as cocktails and mixed drinks
will be available at the cash bar througout the evening.
Following dinner join us in our lounge for a romantic
candle lit evening, soft music, fireside dancing, champagne and
party favours at midnight.
One to three night packages still available. For those who stay
three nights we are offering a wine and cheese reception Saturday
afternoon as well as a holiday food presentation and sampling on
Sunday performed by award winning Certified Chef de Cuisine Yvonne
Belohoubek.

to do on your own or with friends .... skate, ski, have a bon fire...socialize
